Todd is the founder of Young Money Media, Young Money University and author of the new book “YOUNG MONEY - A Powerful 5 Step Plan to Financial Success Now”.

Todd’s been helping thousands of millennials and many others across the nation to think differently about money.  Specifically teaching how to save, spend, invest and give money differently to live a life that fits one’s dreams and a life with more purpose and meaning.     

Todd graduated from the University of Dayton and lives in Cincinnati with his wife Jackie and their four children Jack, Luke, Alec and Mia.

Brett Wooden is committed to lead businesses into the “Post PC Era” by establishing relevance through sales and mobile strategies.

Brett has been in the financial industry for nearly 20 years. Throughout his career he’s held positions as a teller, personal banker, branch manager, market development consultant, business development officer, business development manager, SVP of marketing and IT, and chief retail officer. While at a credit union in the Northwest, he developed a reputation for using technology to attract new members. He made national trade news when he started using his iPad—a Father’s Day gift from his family—to make “field visits” to the offices of busy professionals who wanted to open accounts but did not have time to do so in person. This technology helps members join, update accounts and use other services conveniently. His idea is being replicated in credit unions across the nation.

Brett thrives on helping others embrace and utilize new member engagement strategies in today’s changing world. He is a frequent speaker around the country at Credit Union League and Technology Conferences. Brett was also named the NW Credit Union Association’s Young Credit Union Professional of the Year and The Credit Union Times’ 40 and Under Trailblazer for setting a national trend using tablet technology to take financial services into the field.

Brett earned a BA in Marketing and Management from the School of Business at Portland State University. He currently lives outside of Portland, Oregon and works as the Chief Retail Officer at Providence Federal Credit Union. Brett is a member of the CU Speakers bureau and serves as a member of the faculty team at the Southwest CUNA Management School (SCMS).

When you spend time with Brett you will see that his passion and enthusiasm are contagious. 

  



Joe Kregul is the President/CEO of HealthCare Associates Credit Union in Naperville Illinois. Prior to joining the credit union arena, he was always involved with financial services including leasing, banking, and even the regulator space via the RTC (Resolution Trust Corporation) and the FDIC. Joe is an alumnus of Lewis University with degrees in accounting and business administration and holds the Credit Union Executive Society CSE and CCE designations. Locally and outside of the credit union focus, he serves as chair of the Northwestern Medicine’s Project SEARCH business advisory council.

 

 

 


Diana Michaels is CEO of Western Healthcare Federal Credit Union. Michaels’ entire career (over 40 years) has been in credit unions, from the teller line to CEO.

Michaels has always had a passion for lending. After moving through all positions in member service, she moved to the lending area, where she found her desire to help members rewarding. After spending six years in lending, she accepted her first CEO position, never losing that passion for lending.

Michaels, as CEO, is still able to continue that craving with Member Business Lending and Participation Loans. She has taken part in loan participations since 2004..

 




Ron Senci serves as Executive Vice President, Lending and Sales at Elements Financial, a $1.5 billion credit union based in Indianapolis, IN. He has more than 30 years of lending expertise across all segments, including Commercial, Consumer, and Residential Mortgage. During his career, he has led commercial groups which included Credit, C&I, Commercial Real Estate, Public Funds and Cash Management, managing portfolios more than $800 million and serving customers from small businesses to   large corporations. His past employers have included First Bank of St. Louis, where he served as Retail President for the State of Illinois and Fifth Third Bancorp, where he grew through the ranks to EVP and ultimately led Retail Banking and Small Business Lending for the Chicago Region. Most recently, Mr. Senci has built an in-house commercial banking group at Elements which includes credit and originations and provides a full suite of lending and cash management products. He holds a BS in Finance from IU’s Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, IN. Born in Cleveland, he now resides in Indianapolis with his wife Gayle.


 

 

 

 Matt Jones

Matthew Jones currently serves as the Director of Member Business Lending at the National Institutes of Health FCU with more than two decades of conventional commercial and Small Business Administration (SBA) lending experience.  Over the course of his career, he has been a champion for entrepreneurs through his leadership in the development and proliferation of small business lending units.  Matt has personally functioned in, and managed, positions in organic origination, credit underwriting, loan closing due diligence, servicing, and operational management.  He is a Six Sigma professional with specific focus on the implementation of process efficiencies.  The portfolios he has been involved with range from $20M to as much as $1B.  He started with a small business services organization in the Mid-Atlantic region that was awarded the SBA Financial Services Advocate of the Year.  Matt then became a member of an emerging non-bank national SBA lender that was the 9

th largest SBA lender in the US.  Later, he would assist in the startup of another national non-bank lender that would lead the industry in technologies and efficiencies and being nationally recognized as a top SBA lender.  Matt applied his experiences entering the credit union realm by leading a Mid-Atlantic regional Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) through the expansion of their partnering network and the growth of their portfolio.  Matt is now with one of the largest bio-medical credit unions and is charged with developing a new CUSO partnered by Medical, Education, and Health-related credit unions.

Benita Harp

 

 

 


Benita Harp is a dynamic, results-driven Credit Union Executive with 30 years of progressively responsible experience.

Currently, she is the Chief Operating Officer for Life Credit Union in Nashville, Tennessee, where she has worked for 12 years. As COO, Benita oversees the daily operations of the organization and works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to cast a vision worthy of the trust and support of the members they serve.

Benita currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Healthcare Credit Union Association, and has been actively involved for many years on the Conference Committee. She also serves on the Middle Tennessee Arthritis Foundation Board.

Benita began her career in the financial services industry in 1988 and has held varying degrees of responsibility, including CEO. At the age of 30, she was a published author and later formed Benita Harp & Associates Consulting, which specialized in productivity review, human resources, training, marketing, project management, and strategic planning. Her passions include developing employees, igniting their desire for serving members well and learning from mentors.

Benita loves to travel with family and friends, whether down the street or across the country.

Corlinda Wooden



Corlinda Wooden is a passionate leader of the credit union movement whose driving motivation is to make an impact through offering growth and empowerment with everyone she interacts with. She specializes in facilitating sales and service curriculum, leadership development and pushing innovative approaches to drive bottom line results.

Corlinda is the co-founder for Wooden Consulting, LLC and has been in the financial industry for 20 plus years. Throughout her career she’s held all of the branch level positions as well as been a corporate trainer, sales and development consultant, and a director of branch services. In this time Corlinda has developed a reputation for being a key player in the credit union movement. Her passion for helping people succeed coupled with her years of experience and creativity have helped the teams she has worked with reach new heights.

Corlinda earned a BA in Management and Information Systems and Qualitative Analysis from the School of Business at Portland State University and she currently lives outside of Portland, Oregon. In addition to her work with Wooden Consulting, Corlinda also serves as a Project Manager for Filene Research Institute’s Financial Empowerment Incubator. Additionally, she was named one of Credit Union Magazine’s CU Movement Rock Stars for her leadership in driving a successful sales and service culture amongst the 80+ employees she managed. Corlinda was also among the top 15 credit union professionals for CUES’ Next Top Credit Union Executive Competition where she shared some of her strategies regarding the future of the branching model in the credit union industry.

Corlinda’s experience and conviction for making the credit union industry a stronger player in the financial industry makes for an extraordinary partnership with your credit union.

Julie Ferguson



Julie is the owner of JRF Consulting Services, LLC.

Julie spent 16 years at First Tech Federal Credit Union in the Pacific Northwest before starting JRF Consulting Services in 2009. Her financial services career began as a part-time teller and included time as loan officer, branch manager, director of operations, and business development director. While at First Tech, Ferguson developed strong relationships with SEGs such as Microsoft, Amazon.com and Google.  

JRF Consulting concentrates on growth and member engagement. Julie is passionate about helping credit unions around the country create and execute focused and results oriented business development strategies and evolve into a sales culture that is a win-win for the credit union and members.

Bryn offers more than 15 years of experience as a former credit union executive with extensive background in strategic planning, brand development, retail delivery and public relations for credit unions from $100 million to billions in assets. She received her MBA from Regis University with an emphasis in Market Strategy, and a BA from the University of Wyoming. S

She is a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE), Co-Chair of the Global Women’s Leadership Network Washington DC Chapter, Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Run participant, and a member of the American Marketing Association. Bryn served on the executive committee of the CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council and on the New England Financial Marketing Association Board of Directors.

Linda White, CEO, Upward CU

 



Linda White is CEO of United Health Credit Union, located in Burlingame, CA, where she’s been for 30 years and has been its CEO since 1998, watching the credit union grow from $3m to $65m.

She serves on various committees supporting the credit union and local community including the CA DBO Advisory Committee and the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce Board. Linda received the 2012 Distinguished Service Award from CA and was also the PAC Grassroots leader of the year. She is active in various small credit union networking groups to strengthen the peer relationship that may not be available with multiple departments or managers.

She is a graduate of Western Cuna Management School and attended the Stanford Executive Development Program.

Linda is a native San Franciscan and currently resides just outside of SF with her husband and dog.
