Webinar Series Overview:

As our communities become more diverse and the employees who staff our credit unions become more diverse, it is important to have a strong understanding of what diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is and what it means for your credit union. This webinar series will discuss what DEI is, why it is important for your credit union and explore best practices to best serve your members and community.

Session 1 Description:  The WHY of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion October 27, 2020

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is not new to credit unions. Used effectively, DEI carries the potential to help deliver on the mission and values of your credit union, while also enhancing performance. According to CUNA, over the past five years, 61% of the credit union industry’s growth has come from multicultural consumers. The changing consumer landscape represents an opportunity and competitive advantage for credit unions

As part of this webinar we will explore further the WHY of DEI and strategies and tools to put the principles of DEI into action in your credit union and the communities you serve.
