HCUA is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the member credit unions. The Board is comprised of healthcare credit union executives from across the US. The Board meets periodically by phone throughout the year, and twice in person, at the annual planning session and at the annual education conference.
There are three volunteer positions that report to the Board of Directors on your behalf; Audit Representative, Bill Hawkins, Nomination Coordinator, Robert Harris, and Conference Committee Chair, Jason Mertz-Prickett.
Former credit union CEO, Benita Harp, with 30+ years in the industry runs the daily operations as the Executive Director.
